Vermilion Ohio Lake Erie waters continues to provide excellent walleye drift fishing.Many limit catches coming in. Anglers of all skill levels having successful days on the water.
The walleye drift fishing continues to be unbelievable off Vermilion Ohio. Limit catches every day this week. Friday kept boats at the dock due to strong east winds and rough lake. Back at it Saturday.

Cool Spring weather and Lake temperatures below normal usually result in slow fishing this time of year. BUT NOT THIS YEAR ! Major cold front day before trip had things slowed down a bit but these boys were still able to pull some nice walleye, drift fishing north of Vermilion 6/14/14
Despite cool weather and lots of rain walleye are being caught off Vermilion. Depending on weather and water conditions there have been some decent catches. Water clarity has been a big factor. 7/18/13 The walleye drift fishing really picked up Tuesday. Many limit catches were taken in the off shore waters of Vermilion.Weapons tipped with night crawlers fished slowly across the bottom proved to be the ticket. Back at the dock by noon with a 6 man crew.
Monday July 8th 2013 Fishing weapons off the rocky breaks just west of Vermilion was productive in the am. Nice overcast day with a good south west breeze. Fish were tight to bottom but willing to take a crawler.
After 3 days of North East wind back on the lake today. Hot and calm but walleye were willing to take harnesses tipped with night crawlers. This young angler was rewarded with a nice eye, his first on the big lake.
