Drift fishing along the rocky shore line of Vermilion proved to be productive. The white perch have been bad, take a lot of bait but the walleye are there. Trolling off shore has been producing a lot of big fish, dodging storms all week but a good week of fishing.
This group of fisherman was kept busy catching many big walleye while running a trolling program NE of Vermilion. Love these days
6/21/13 Friday The weather finally warmed up the wind got out of the North East and the big fish were hungry. Walleye fishing was very productive North West of Lorain trolling Jet Divers and harnesses and dipsy divers. Many big fish were taken. We had 7 fish over 28 inches and 1 over 31 inches.
Good fishing weekend. Off shore fishing, warmer weather, six of the fish were over 28 inches. Happy people with big fish!
These fish came off the sandbar drifting from 36 ft of water into 40 ft . Throwing weapons tipped with night crawlers.
Sunday 6/9/13 Off shore trolling was productive for this father/daughter team
